I love V3. I've been using PHPfox for a while, and I have to say: they've done a great job with the version. This product grows along with times. Mobile, single sign on,social connect. Excellent.

Tried a few different social networking scripts like Boonex etc..before settling on phpfox which I liked enough that I bought a second license when I started up a site recently. The core phpfox engine is well written and unecrypted. Most webmasters will want to customize the script and you will definitely need to know your php and mysql to do so...that said, the program is well architectured, and if you know what you're doing, easy to customize. The newest version is Ajax based, supports different types of php cachigng (memcache, apc cache or flat file caching) for performance and also supports clustering...two thumbs up.

Please read below guidelines.

Topcommunitysoftware provides user reviews on social networking scripts like socialengine, phpfox or boonex dolphin. These out of the box social networking software packages can be used to create highly interactive social networking sites, or to add interactive social features to your existing websites. You'll also find a selection of dating scripts that you can use for dating websites.  Your also find other scripts such as twitter clones, marketplace scripts, and many more.

When selecting to buy a script, we advise you to check three things:

- Open source social networking script?

This means that you'll be able to hire someone to change and customize the site if needed. If the source code is not open, they won't grant you access to the code and no changes will be possible.

- do you have to pay a monthly or yearly licence for the script updates?

Be careful not to fall into the trap of buying a cheap social networking script with huge "update" subscription fees.

- is their an active support community in case you have troubles with your script?

Almways make sure they have a community forum where you see they answer customers' problems.
